Aristotelli Pensantti
Mangiare! Oh, ho!
"Thinking requires leisure."
That same week I heard the same:
- "What he (not) doing that has time to think about all this?", Said with a tone of indignation.
- "Have I not, I do not have time!", Said with pride.
Since when have no time became a reason to be proud?
Every man / woman successful, when asked about the key to success, as soon say, "All work and sweat."
Well, I agree that much sweat and work is essential! After all, if you dedicate yourself more and your (the verb "sweat" and not "sound" like a bell ...) over to his colleague First, you probably will exercise that activity with greater mastery.
But anyway, in my short career has seen so much nonsense out at 20:00 as genial and fantastic people leaving at 17:00 pm
Therefore, I believe, the same people above asked about what is the key to success in business, they forgot a few items that I think are much more essential:
- Timing;
- Being in the right place at the right time;
- Be very, very lucky;
- Knowing someone in the right place.
Another time I try to discuss these, but the question that I want, after all this, is that we feel obliged of working hours, not efficiency. Why feel obliged to work for the eyes of others, and not for who we really should measure?! Ourselves.
Returning the original sentence, Aristotle says that "Thinking requires leisure." To be idle, you need to take time off. To have free time, or you need to have few activities, or be very efficient. Choose by the latter, or the first depending on your goals, but choose to spend more time with his girlfriend, family, friends and performing their hobbies. Or simply thinking!
